The TGB Foundation Receives Donation from SIMCAC

The TGB Foundation was graced with a donation of $3,000 from the SIM – Capital Area Chapter (SIMCAC). They are truly a special group of people with warm hearts and an incredible knowledge of the technology field.

The chapter’s generosity will go toward advancing our coding camps in rural Alabama. These camps have been supported by Google in the form of teaching aid for their program Grasshopper®️. We’ve also implemented Scratch coding, which makes programming easy and fun for children. As our local STEM partner teaches coding skills to children, we’re able to cast a vision for a sustainable and self-sufficient career in tech for these kids.
