Technology seems to be everywhere, unless you’re in a remote rural town where access to tech tools remains scarce. Insufficient internet connectivity and lack of access to technology devices have left many rurally-located households even further behind on the socioeconomic scale… affecting education and career opportunities. This divide is exponentially felt by the youth in these communities.

Through our STEM-based programs, we’re giving kids a glimpse into how I.T. can be a pathway to independence. Our technology enablement camps have been supported by Google in the form of teaching aid for their Grasshopper software. The camp also incorporates Scratch coding and robotics education, which makes programming easy and fun for children. This offers kids a way to gain the confidence required for them to handle life’s challenges on their own… a chance for independence.

The program has already evolved beyond camps to real world technology tasks and online courses where young adults with extraordinary minds are given responsibilities in support of Provalus I.T. services projects.

This divide is exponentially felt by the youth in these communities.

A concentrated effort to open more doors with through diversity sets this mission of our nonprofit apart from others. We are unique in several ways… our focus is on children and young adults in under-served rural communities with a special effort to serve children who are faced with an extra dimension of challenges. It may be that they have experienced childhood trauma or have alternate mental abilities that require advanced resources or have emotional hurdles to overcome. However they began their hard start to life, The TGB Foundation wants to provide a curriculum, personnel for oversight and eventually housing assistance to put them on a path toward self-sufficiency. 90% of adults on the spectrum struggle with under-employment and unemployment. This TGB Foundation program is on a mission to change that.

Our partnership with Provalus makes this program one-of-a-kind. Not only are the founders of the two organizations bonded together in a unique way, but Provalus has the ability to put the young adults in this program to work in the technology arena. With an unemployment rate of less than 1% in I.T, a career in technology is a secure choice for young adults hoping for economic stability and career opportunity. Our goal is to ensure they reach their full potential.

The TGB Foundation is thrilled to provide programs that enrich the lives of youth in rural America to encourage self-sufficiency and inclusivity… ensuring their future is bright.
